Patricia Barcellos is an immigration attorney with over a decade of legal experience, licensed to practice law in both Brazil and the United States. At Barcellos Law, she focuses on U.S. immigration processes — particularly work visas, investment visas, and permanent residence — guiding clients through one of the most important journeys of their lives with strategy, legal certainty, and genuine care.
Prior to joining Barcellos Law, Patricia built a distinguished career at one of the leading global mobility law firms in the United States, where she served in progressively senior roles, including as Director of Legal Operations and as Chief Supervising Attorney. That experience gave her a comprehensive command of U.S. immigration law and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver results at the highest level.
Patricia holds an LL.M. in U.S. & Transnational Law from the University of Miami School of Law, a Master's degree/Specialization in Torts from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in São Paulo, Brazil. Her dual academic foundation — spanning both the Brazilian civil law tradition and the U.S. common law system — allows her to provide sophisticated, cross-border legal counsel that is both technically rigorous and practically grounded.
What truly sets Patricia apart is her personal connection to the immigration experience. Having gone through the U.S. immigration process herself after relocating from Brazil, she understands firsthand the weight of every decision, the complexity of each stage, and the courage it takes to build a new life in a new country. That experience shaped the way she practices law: with empathy, closeness, and a commitment to being present for her clients at every step.
For Patricia, immigration law is not just a practice area — it is a mission. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families turn their life projects into reality, one case at a time.
Morgana Colombo, a dual citizen of Brazil and the U.S., is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian. With a certification from M&M Learning Center’s Immigration Paralegal Training Program, she brings valuable expertise and multilingual support to our clients.
